hello!
this wasnt where i meant to end up
maybe i made a mistake but i dont think so
there was a new phone waiting for me and everything
so possibly this is where i need to be!

and not the humans ive met

[Wow, he hadn't expected to feel so good about her showing interest in something again. He smiles and reaches up, giving a lock of her hair a tug] Just be careful about the monsters. Not that you need to be careful.

I'm sure they can't be any worse here than in the game! I just need to find a whip. [ she pokes him in the cheek in retaliation, grinning ]

You don't have yours anymore? [He's startled by that] Though you always have your powers, too.

I don't think my captchalogue carried over! Anyway, when I was a robot, I mostly just punched things, so I unequipped the whipkind specibus after a while.

Oh, that sucks. Mine totally did, thank gog. I'd be nuts if I didn't have my husktop. [He grins suddenly, remembering how he reprogrammed Dave's to troll him.]

I wasn't carrying that much, anyway! Who's gog? [ guess who was being a mopey mopebot in a corner when all these sweet bits of slang were being coined ]

Huh? Oh. I dunno. [He shrugs, smiling wryly] Something one of the humans said, I think. They thank gog for everything, and kk picked it up because he's all up in John's nook, and now we all kinda say it.

I really need to catch up on talking to the humans! I mean I would have talked to them eventually but this way I know I'm talking to the right version I guess.

[He just shakes his head wryly] Well, you've got lots of chances to talk to them, now. Three of them are here.

Maybe one of them would come adventuring with me? I don't even need to ask you to know you'd rather be programming any day. [ she laughs, to let him know she doesn't mean it unkindly ]

[He laughs and shrugs, knowing it's 100% true] I bet eg would. Uh, that's John.

I'll ask him! I want to learn more about that clock I was told about.

Oh yeah? What clock?

[He has noticed the ticking, but what with everything he hasn't given it much thought. Considering what he used to have to deal with, a doomsday clock in his head is pretty much background static]

Apparently there's a clock in town somewhere. It kind of feels like if it's anyone's duty to investigate it, it's probably mine.

[He chuckles] You've got a point there, aa. Take ck and do it, maybe, instead of eg. He's the time guy from the humans' session, after all.

Yes, I've met him! Multiple times, actually. It's hard to go into a dream bubble without meeting one of us.

Oh yeah? Yeah, I guess that's true, what with all the fucked up doomed timelines and stuff.

It's kind of a relief to be only one of me right now! [ she stretches her hands over her head with a sigh, looking around the hive i mean apartment ] It's a lot neater that way.

[He'd roll his eyes if he had any] Has anyone ever told you that you're really weird sometimes, aa?

Yes. Even before I was a ghost frog robot. You don't mind at all, so don't give me that!

Good point! Anyway, I know I'm pretty weird. Especially with all the hero of time stuff going on. But I think that's part of the game, you know? To end up somewhere different.

Maybe you're right. [He never really thought about that. He crooks a wry smile.] So where was I supposed to end up as the Mage of Doom? I don't think I wound up that different by the end of the game... though maybe I'm different now.

Well, you're doomed now! But that should be a relief after being cursed with your vision twofold, right?
