It seems today has been deemed a good day for shopping. And here I thought it might be quiet.

Well, the kittens seem to have decided that my knitting supplies make for rather entertaining toys. If I hope to actually get anything done, I need either something to distract them or else additional yarn that they have not deemed to be theirs.

I'm not really sure what purrbeasts like to play with! Do you think they'd like to chase things?

Oh yes. Particularly things that are not strictly theirs to chase. I understand it allows them to hone skills they would be required to have were they to have to fend for themselves.

Maybe you could get them toy balls? If you don't want them chasing your yarn, I mean. Or ribbons!

Perhaps, yes. Something large enough that it doesn't end up under the fridge or somewhere else it shouldn't be.

Maybe. I'm all right with staying here for a while, but even if I'm only staying a few more days, I don't really want to live somewhere that seems empty.

I collect artifacts! [ right now she's got her arms wrapped around what seems to be a half size model of a tyrannosaurus skull, practically hugging it ] I didn't know that humans had lizardbeasts on their planet too! I'm pretty into archaeology, you know.

Why? Doesn't seem all that interesting.

Maybe to you! I like digging things up and discovering hidden treasures. And troll Indiana Jones is the coolest!

I'm serious! I can't believe you have a human one! I mean, stuff like troll Nazis and the Lost Troll Ark are pretty culture-specific, right?
